AGING IN PLACE DOESN'T MEAN AGING ALONE

A Village is not a place. It's neighbors helping neighbors.

Most of us want to remain in our homes as we grow older. We want to stay connected to our friends, our neighborhoods and the communities we love. But aging at home doesn't mean we have to do it alone.

In Hawai'i, we've always understood the importance of community. We check on our neighbors. We lend a hand when it's needed. We look out for one another. Mālama Village is built on those same values of aloha, creating opportunities for friendship, support, purpose and belonging. We welcome friends from all backgrounds, cultures and identities.

Some members receive help. Others offer help. Most do both.
Our guiding principle is simple:
Give what you can.
Take what you need.

Whether you're looking for new friendships, a helping hand, a meaningful volunteer opportunity, or a stronger sense of community, Mālama Village offers a welcoming place to belong.

Join us for an orientation and discover a new way to age well at home.
